About
MNF is Brussels’ museum night
The event is organised by Brussels Museums, the Brussels museum federation, which aims to make museums more accessible to everyone.
MNF is a festive evening in the museums
The 28 participating museums open their doors between 7pm and 1am, offering an ultra-diverse, effervescent and offbeat programme in collaboration with emerging artists. The party goes on until the early hours at the afterparties.
MNF is a participative event
The artists create the incredible programme for the evening, echoing the collections and exhibitions of each museum. The public are invited to interact, intervene and co-create, making this night so unique. In addition to the museum teams, over 400 volunteers ensure that the evening runs smoothly.
MNF is an inclusive event
Everyone should be able to make the most of Museum Night Fever to their heart’s content and in complete safety. Brussels Museums, the museums, the artists and the volunteers are doing their utmost to ensure that the event is accessible:
- By breaking down the barriers that keep some visitors away from the museums. Anything is possible (or almost!), just let yourself be carried away by the artists and their wildest proposals!
- By offering democratic prices. One ticket for the evening, which also gives access to a participating museum until 25.11.2023. We are working with several partners to make tickets even more affordable: Article 27 and Paspartoe.
- By integrating accessibility measures for all at all levels of the event (programming, communication, spatial arrangements, etc.). To achieve this, we are working hand in hand with Access-I, Access And Go and Esenca.
- By carrying out mediation actions with the public. For example, we create tailor-made routes or activities for and in consultation with certain audiences
MNF is a sustainable event
Our aim is to organise an event that is as sustainable as possible for the well-being of us all. We are working with Event Change to apply these principles across the whole organisation of the event. Each participating museum has signed a sustainability charter. Artists, volunteers, suppliers and the public are also contributing to this collective effort in their own way.
Meet the team who puts the capital’s most beautiful night to music.
